Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in is 2pm and check out is 10am

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

We take a pre authorisation of a valid card and the guest signs to say that we are able to charge up to $200 in the event of damage.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

Yes certainly. If you are coming either later or earlier than our office hours, give us a call to arrange either keycard collection or parking and bag storage.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

If you would like a late check out, please let us know when you book or when you arrive. We will always try to accommodate your needs although it may not always be possible particularly in peak periods.

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

Generally, we ask for a minimum of one night as a deposit. During peak periods, this may be up to 50%.This is required at the time of booking but if booking well in advance, we can stagger deposit payments.

Q: What are the reception hours?

Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm

Sunday 9am – 11am

Q: Can I book local attractions tickets at reception?

Yes we are happy to book local attractions for you.

Q: Is there Internet or WiFi access available?

Free WiFi vouchers are available to all guests.

Q: What facilities do you have?

The apartments have full kitchen and laundry with reverse cycle air conditioning with a fan in every room. Everything is there including hairdryers and irons. Modern electronic key security ensures peace of mind. Cots and high chairs are available for hire. Entertainment includes foxtel and free DVD library.

We have lockable storage for bikes and surfboards. The building is powered by a PV solar system.

Q: Is there car parking available?

Ample secure underground car park, with 1.92m height access.

Q: Is all linen provided?

Yes. From Towels to blankets – even beach towels are available.

Q: How often are the rooms serviced?

After 7 days – but a service is always available at a charge.

Q: Is the pool heated?

The plunge pool is heated year round.

General information about our location.

Q: Are there shops or restaurants nearby?

Byron Quarter is situated within a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants in Byron Bay. We have a soon to be opened restaurant at the front of the building.

Q: Is there public transport nearby?

The airport shuttle services will deliver you to our door and pick up from our door. The central bus stop is at the end of our street.

Q: What local attractions are in the area?

Check out our web page on Things to do which has a comprehensive list. Local attractions are the Cape Byron Lighthouse, Tallow Beach and Brunswick Heads. The hinterland of Byron Bay has scenic drives to charming villages. Many people enjoy scuba diving, mountain bike riding, kayaking, surfing, ballooning, yoga and shopping at our unique stores and markets.

Q: How far away is the lighthouse?

The Lighthouse is 4 kms away. It is a 2 hr return walk from Byron Quarter.

Q: Where can I buy groceries locally?

There is an Aldi supermarket at the end of Byron Street. There is a Woolworths within walking distance. On Thursday morning every week a Farmer’s Market is held in the town.

Q: What is the best way to get here from the airport?

Byron Quarter recommends Xcede Airport Transfers to get you safely to and from the Gold Coast International Airport.
