When visiting Byron Bay Region the markets are an integral part of the community and lifestyle to experience. The weekly farmers markets are a fantastic example of this with each market location having variation in terms of stall holders and produce available.
The farmer’s markets are a great way to start the day, there's bountiful amounts of fresh produce which may include (depending on the market you go to) fresh fruits and vegetables, cheeses, local honey, free range organic eggs, seafood, pasta, sprouts, fresh olives and olive oil, fermented foods, breads, chutneys and more.
At many of the markets there’s also food venders available and hot coffee, so you can have your breakfast and listen to some live music after you’ve been around and chosen your selection of market goodies.
As well as getting a great selection of foods for a delicious feast over the week ahead you are also supporting local farms and producers by buying directly and increasing their profit margin.
For a full description of each market visit Weekly Farmers Markets.
