Located right on the old Railway Station in Byron Bay, The Rails, is the only pub in Australia to have featured live music seven nights a week … for over thirty years!
The Railway Friendly Bar is the official name of the venue, but Byron locals fondly refer to it as ‘The Rails’.
The Rails features rustic decor and a semi outdoors layout that gives it a unique and relaxed Australian atmosphere and also takes full advantage of the Byron Bay weather.
People from all walks of life and parts of the globe are drawn to this distinctive and funky music bar with live entertainment 365 days per year.
The Rails also features a restaurant that is open from noon to 9pm, 7 days per week. The menu includes burgers, salads, snacks, pasta dishes, seafood and mains such as chicken parmigiana and bangers and mash. They also offer daily specials and a kids menu.
The Rails is just a short walk from the self-contained apartment accommodation of Byron Quarter Holiday Apartments.
