in Dining Out

 Oct 2nd 2015 7:17am

The Farm Byron Bay has all the elements of a great experience for all, for the young and young at heart. From the restaurant to the coffee bar, old fashioned playground, farm walks, yoga classes, permaculture courses and other inspiring events; plus they have a bakery, and local produce deli......and it's all sustainable! To be true to their sustainability they grow a lot of produce themselves, you can go for a lovely walk in the sun after your meal through the commercial vegetable gardens and go and visit their chooks and floppy eared black pigs.

Three Blue Ducks encompasses the restaurant, the cafe and the produce store. The concept is to use local and sustainable ingredients, they grow and use as much as they can and then they source other in season from items from the region between Southern Queensland and Port Macquarie, New South Wales. As it is a seasonal menu you can always expect to see something exciting and new that has been created, it's fresh, healthy and exciting food that will have your mouth watering. It's a rustic feel true to its environment with friendly wait staff; they have a fantastic open kitchen, beers, cider and wine's all on tap so there's no glass wastage and if you come for dinner they may be cranking the Argentinian grill, the double spit roast or the wood fired pizza oven. It all smells amazing and tastes even better!
