Here’s a night time activity with a difference – explore the rainforest at night, searching for nocturnal wildlife!
Night Vision Bush-walk is a truly unique experience (it’s even got a patent – so it’s the only one of its kind in the world) where you use military technology to view the night time locals (no disturbing them with torches!).
Using Night Vision goggles you’ll observe Australia’s nocturnal animals in their natural habitat! You will also see a constellation of glow worms and after your your night time walk you will enjoy a hot chocolate under the starry night sky.
Walks occur on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 5-15 animals are normally sighted, typically Possum, Pademelon, Bandicoot, Tawny Frogmouth and Frogs. Every so ofter Koala and Owl are also sighted.
You’ll be picked up from your Byron Bay accommodation and the tour includes night vision goggle hire, experienced guide, transfers, park fees, hot chocolate and a cookie.
