Lake Ainsworth tea-tree lake is a popular spot for picnics, barbecues, and water activities, there’s lots of shaded grassy picnic areas and toilet facilities at both ends.

Located very close to Seven Mile Beach Lennox Head you can go for an ocean swim then pop over to the lake for a rinse in the warm waters of the tea-tree lake. It is suitable for swimming most of the year, although very chilly in winter and at times it does develop blue-green algae due to over use often toward the end of summer. Keep an eye out for signage when you visit.

Suitable for canoeing, stand-up paddle boards and kayaking it’s a safe place to learn and play for the whole family.
