Cosy Corner Byron Bay

Just beneath Cape Byron, tucked under the south side, you’ll find Cosy Corner connecting with the long stretch of Tallow Beach.

Cosy Corner can provide surfers with a nice sheltered spot when the northerlies are blowing, however the sea here can be quite choppy and subject to strong rips – so caution is advised.

Keep a look out for the hang-gliders that take off from the launching pad on the headland! If you are looking for an adventure and a birds-eye view of Byron Bay you might even consider trying Byron Bay hang-gliding yourself!

Protected by the Arakwal National Park the beach is accessible from Tallow Beach Road. A car park is available for a fee of $6 that is paid to National Parks.
