When: 4-6 August 2017
Where: Byron Bay
The Byron Bay Writers Festival has become a Nationally acclaimed festival, now celebrating 21 years the festival brings writers together to share, do workshops, and inspire the wider community - and what better place to do all this than Byron Bay!
The festival has come along in leaps and bounds with an ever-growing popularity right from its very conception.
Now taking place in seven beautiful white marquees you can be part of writer’s conversations, panels, readings, lectures and book launches. Most authors will be doing a book signing after their session where you can meet your favourite authors in person. There is an official and impressive bookshop selling all the titles from the authors invited to attend and present at the festival.
On Sunday, one of the marquees becomes a children’s authors marquee for children to meet their favourite story tellers.
The festival runs from 9am-5pm daily with most sessions going for about 1hr, you can sit and listen or wander between the marquees and catch some of everything that’s happening.
Come along and experience a program with a firm focus on Australian authors.
Join over 100 writers at this year’s Byron Bay Writers Festival, Australia's most popular literacy festival.
