When you visit Byron Bay one of the most characteristic things to do in the area is going to the markets, they are some of the best outdoor markets you will visit in Australia.
Byron Bay Community Market is held on the 1st Sunday of every month from 8am at the Butler Street Reserve. It is absolutely incredible the number of stalls there are to peruse which are spread over a couple of acres. A wonderful array of handicrafts, local produce, local designer clothing and art works are available.
Various musicians perform throughout the day to keep you entertained and there's plenty of tasty food vans, cool drink venders and coffee on the go.
If your not here on the Byron Bay Market there are plenty of other great markets each weekend in the region CLICK HERE. Plus every Thursday is the Byron Bay Farmers Market at the Butler Street Reserve from 7am, and every Saturday (Oct-Mar) from 5pm-9pm is the Artisan Night Market Railay Park, Jonson Street Byron Bay.
