Get out into Nature and experience Nightcap National Park. One of the features of Nightcap is the Big Scrub loop walking track, where you have the opportunity to get amongst some of the most beautiful subtropical rainforest in New South Wales.
The track is popular with community and school groups and boasts great opportunities for bird-watching (including Albert's lyrebirds, brush turkeys and rainforeset pigeon), lush vegetation and crystal clear creeks.
The orange markers will help you stay on path on this clearly marked track. Along the path you'll see huge fig trees, stinging tress and yellow carabeen towering above and forming part of the rainforest canopy.
Big Scrub loop walking track is located in Nightcap National Park, it's a 1.5km long, medium grade track and takes approximatly 45minutes to complete. For more information including directions visit National Parks NSW
